Tsubaki Automotive Czech Republic opens soon
Tsubakimoto Chain Co. is excited to open a new manufacturing plant in the Czech Republic. This is going to be a second automotive production plant in Europe. Once completed in February 2017, Tsubaki Automotive Czech Republic s.r.o., a new subsidiary of Tsubaki Europe, will be manufacturing and assembling timing chain drive systems and associated products for leading car manufacturers across Europe.
The company invested 400 million CZK in this new development and will create 80 jobs by 2020.

Building on our success in the United Kingdom; we are very excited about this new development. Tsubaki Automotive Czech Republic will be recruiting 20 key staff in the summer 2016, expanding to 80 new positions by 2020." Bart Mellink, Managing Director Tsubakimoto UK Ltd.
To achieve the production continuity, all staff will undergo training at the UK production site early next year. A cross-functional team from Japan and the UK will lead the operation in Kolin in the initial period of 12 months.
