Tsubaki's Success
Innovation in motion
Tsubaki Automotive has an impressive track record in design, development and production of timing chain drive systems for car manufacturers across the globe that spans almost half a century. As the world's leading supplier of automotive timing systems, the company constantly invests in technological innovation.
High Performance & Quality
Tsubaki Automotive's development, quality management and production systems are designed to respond to high demands for technological capabilities and cost performance. Tsubaki strives to always exceed the customers' expectations.
Eco-Products
Zerotech Series chains are eco-products that contribute to significant energy savings and CO2 emissions reductions:
- Friction Reduction - Zerotech Series chains realise substantial reduction in friction loss, while improving engine fuel efficiency and cutting CO2 emissions.
- Mass - Tsubaki Automotive is now able to make our chains lighter and smaller, while maintaining the same levels of performance.
- Longer lasting chains - Zerotech Series chains offer substantial reduction in chain stretching and therefore longer durability.
Specialised technologies
In product development, Tsubaki Automotive uses an evaluation system that employs both predictive assessment using computer-aided engineering (CAE) and actual testing on testing apparatuses and engines. Using our expertise and advanced technologies, the company has developed proprietary analytical tools and evaluation equipment to always supply high quality products that accurately respond to customers' needs.
- System Design - Tsubaki Automotive has developed highly sophisticated predictive assessment and testing technologies allowing customers to be provided with proposals for timing systems that perfectly fit their needs.
- Dynamic Analysis and Predictive Assessment Technologies - Tsubaki Automotive's proprietary analytical software makes is possible to conduct computer-aided engineering (CAE) simulations of the operation of chain systems, allowing us to predictively assess the motion characteristics of actual equipment.
- Chain System evaluation - The final decision regarding the appropriateness of the chain systems is based on tests using actual equipment. Chain tension and the stress and behaviour characteristics of all parts are measured under actual operating conditions.
- Auto Engineering Lab - The Auto Engineering Lab, located within Tsubaki Automotive Saitama plant, Japan, develops and evaluates new products, technologies and engines while improving production methods.
Global Automotive Parts Operations
Tsubaki Automotive has a worldwide production and sales network with operations in seven key regions (Europe, Japan, North America, Thailand, China, Korea and South America). The global presence allows the company to address the needs of engines around the world, conducting the production in optimal locations while providing uniform quality.
